Brief History
La Ferme Michaud Farm was incorporated in 1969 by its third-generation owners. Production on the farm has varied over the years from dairy products to potatoes to beef cattle. Since 1978, operations have been dedicated to vegetable farming. Today in its fourth generation, Ferme Michaud Farm extends to more than 650 acres of land. The farm currently grow 200 acres of vegetables and berries, 150 acres of grain and 300 acres of hay. They rent space to M.Tomato, another member of the Really Local Havest Co-op, who operates a garden center.
Where Sold
All products from Ferme Michaud Farm are sold at the fruit and vegetable stand located 1 km from the farm. Local producers, many of whom are Really Local members, also sell the farm’s products at the Moncton and Dieppe markets.
